|
How does the UnderPar Mini series work? |
|
First, you just attend the event and play, just like you would do any other time. At
the end of the event, I will take the results and give points based
on how many people you have a better score than overall within your
division.
If you have the best score of the tournament within
your division, then
you would have beaten 100% of the field, which would give you 100
points. If you beat 85% of the field, than you will be awarded
85 points and so on.
You are awarded points based on your best 3 out of 5
events. The top 40% of the players who attend 3 of the 5
events will be awarded UnderPar Gift Certificates, which can be used
with UnderPar DiscGolf. |
|
|
What divisions will be rewarded? |
|
As of now, the divisions that will be awarded are
below. I will add more divisions if there is a minimum of
three players who have qualified to receive rewards, which are players who
attend 3 of the 5 events. If a division that is offered below
does not have at least five players who have played in 3 of the 5
events, that division will be merged with the closest division.
As of now, Am Masters is not a division that will
receive rewards, but if there are 5 Am Masters that compete in the
UnderPar Mini Series, I will then create an Am Masters Reward
division.
If you compete in a division that is not offered as
a reward division, your score and points will be calculated on the
next closest division. If you play Am Masters and there is no
Am Masters reward division, your score and points will be
accumulated with the Advanced Division.

Open Men
-
Advanced Men
-
Intermediate Men
-

Again the above divisions are listed because
they are the most common the meet the requirements. We
will gladly add a division if the requirements are met. |
|
|
What are the rewards per division? |
|
All Pro Divisions will be awarded with Cold Hard
Cash and all Amateur Divisions will be awarded with UnderPar
DiscGolf Gift Certificates. |
|
|
How do I find out how many points I have or
where I stand? |
|
You can look at the
standings page which will give you
up to date standings along with what the current rewards are as of
that time.
Rewards estimation will be posted after the third
event |
|
|
When do I receive my rewards? |
|
After the fifth event, I will post the final
standings and send an email to you letting you know where you stand
and what your reward is. Through email we can communicate how
to distribute your reward. |
|
|
How long is the UnderPar Gift Certificate good
for? |
|
The UnderPar Gift Certificate will be good until
October 30th, 2010. It can be used at one of the many events
that UnderPar DiscGolf vends at, online or at the new Pro Shop
located at 1117 N Badger Ave, Appleton, WI.
Note: Sales Tax and/or Shipping may
apply. |
|
|
How does the rolling Ace Fund work? |
|
At each of the events, there will be a $2.00 Ace Fund available for players to
participate in. If an Ace is hit, then it will be paid out to
the winner(s) of the Ace Fund. If no Ace is hit, it will carry
over to the next event. The next events Ace Fund then would be
worth what ever carries over from the previous event plus what ever
is gained from the current event. A player must have paid into
the Ace Fund to receive the winnings. If there is any Ace
Funds left after the last event of the series, the remaining money
will be used toward to reward payout.. |
